AWP is thrilled to unveil our new conference platform, created to better serve members, nonmembers, and AWP Conference & Bookfair attendees. The AWP staff has worked alongside a team of devoted web developers for months to fine-tune our new website and make the platform easier to navigate for users.
Navigating the Conference Platform
While some aspects have remained the same, AWP has implemented many new changes to the conference website meant to make the processes for registering, purchasing exhibit space, and accessing accepted event information seamless and simple. Registered conference attendees should have access to the Attendee Service Center, which allows attendees to view their registration, update their attendee profile, view payment confirmation, and more. In past years, conference panelists and speakers have used the Event Management page to view their accepted proposals and adjust or edit them accordingly. The Speaker Service Center on our new platform has taken over this role, and the Speaker Service Center checklist, which lives under this page, provides conference panelists with a comprehensive checklist of items, including these: reviewing their biography, booking a hotel for #AWP25, viewing event information, reviewing presenter guidelines, and registering as a presenter for #AWP25. Bookfair exhibitors, don’t worry! We haven’t forgotten about you. Rolling launch dates to select your exhibit space are coming up soon. Once you have selected your space, you’ll find all the information you need in the Exhibit Space Management Center. Bookfair stage events are now available for purchase. Elevate your organization’s presence with a unique reading, performance, or tribute set in the hustle and bustle of the exhibit hall.
