The 2027 AWP Conference Subcommittee is tasked with evaluating all conference proposals. The subcommittee consists of seventeen to eighteen individuals, mainly based in the conference host region, who represent different strands of AWP’s membership: writers, educators, editors, publishers, and administrators.
Members of the subcommittee remain confidential to each other and to the public until after the evaluation process has been complete. Subcommittee members will be announced in August.
