Writer to Writer Across the Pages: Wrangling the Doubt Monster
We’re thrilled to premiere the latest Writer’s Desk event, “Writer to Writer Across the Pages: Wrangling the Doubt Monster,” featuring Season 21 mentor Amy Bernstein and her mentee Veronica Vo!
In this insightful conversation, Amy and Veronica discuss their time in the AWP Writer to Writer Mentorship Program and the impact of doubt on their writing journeys. The pair consider internal and external factors that influence a writer’s confidence, how self-questioning has shaped their approach to writing over time, and techniques for managing doubt when it creeps into the writing process.
The premiere of this Writer’s Desk event will take place on AWP’s YouTube channel on Thursday, August 6, 2026, and is free and available to all.
Join us on Thursday, August 6, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. ET for this free event.
