2008-2009 Rate Card
Please note that discounts apply only to our display ads.
Advertisements are categorized and placed on our site in one of two tiers. Advertisers may choose which page within that tear upon which their ads will be placed. An ad will be placed on only one page or section per purchase. You will need a username and password to view any pages in eLink, our members-only site.

First Tier:
Prices: Button Ad-$305/2 months & Skyscraper Ad-$610/2 months
First Tier ads include placement on any one (1) of the following: Guide, WC&C, Job List, Calendar, or Chronicle index pages. These are AWP's most popular sections of the website, and thus advertisements on these pages stand the best chance to be seen by our site visitors. In addition, advertisements placed on these pages will be put in two places: both on our private members-only site and on our public site.
A first tier add will appear on one of the following:
Chronicle-
Ads are placed on both the eLink & public Chronicle index pages. This section contains information and articles from The Writers' Chronicle and is visited frequently, including the six times a year when new issues are published. |

Job List-
Ads are placed on both the eLink Job List index page & the public Job List page in the Careers section. This section contains career information and our Job Listings which are posted at the beginning of every month. Now that the Job List is online-only, visitors will check this section even more frequently. |

Writer's Calendar-
Ads are placed on both the eLink Writer's Calendar index page & the public Writer's Calendar page in the Contests section. This section contains a calendar of grants & awards and is updated frequently. |

WC&C-
Ads are placed on both the eLink WC&C index page & the public Writers' Conferences & Centers site index page. The WC&C section now is a standalone site for conferences, centers, festivals, and retreats. Visitors include WC&C members as well as individuals looking to attend events. |

The Guide-
Ads are placed on eLink info page & The AWP Official Guide to Writing Programs index page. This is a new section to our site that has space for advertisting on both the right and left sides of the page. Visitors include program directors as well as individuals looking for writing programs, degree information, and faculty. |

Second Tier:
Prices: Button Ad-$155/2 months & Skyscraper Ad-$305/2 months
Second Tier ads include placement on any one (1) of the following: Pedagogy Forum, News, or Program Support index pages. These are all part of the members-only site, eLink. Each advertisement will appear on only one page.
A second tier add will appear on one of the following:
Pedagogy Forum-
Ads are placed on the eLink Pedagogy Forum index page. This section is related to our annual conference and is visited most often during the conference season as well as when the deadline for papers is approaching. |

News-
Ads are placed on the eLink News index page. This section contains everything from writers' news to AWP board & staff biographies, a list of recent hires to AWP's annual report. It is updated once in a while and is visited most often during annual elections and when election results are posted. |

Program Support-
Ads are placed on the eLink Program Support index page. This section contains the significant documents and publications of AWP, including the Program Directors' Handbook and guidelines for programs and conferences. This section was previously called 'Documents'. |
