AWP researches job opportunities across the United States & overseas to help link our members with the best opportunities available. This year, we are continuing to expand our listings of jobs for writers outside of teaching, including jobs in publishing, arts administration, grantwriting, & public relations. Other opportunities appearing in the Job List include internships, calls for submissions & scripts, & opportunities for freelance writers. The AWP Job List also contains articles geared towards the job-seeker. Upcoming issues include articles on how to write cover letters for academic jobs, the use of internships, whether headhunters can help writers find jobs, & more.

Updates of new jobs are posted as they become available and a new updates page lets you quickly see the most recent jobs posted. In this way, viewers of the Job List Online stay informed of the newest jobs.
